DataStax

DataStax is a strong advocate of the open-source Apache Cassandra. DataStax is responsible for the highly available, scalable NoSQL database built on top of Apache-Cassandra. DataStax in itself consists of many different services incorporated to form the data management ecosystem. All these are built for easy data management across different organizations, to help the deployment of infrastructures to production less time consuming, and ultimately easier, and to help developers develop, and manage data platforms easily.

In the process we pulled some Docker images of the applications we are interested in and we got into working with the DSE Search, DSE Analytics with Spark, and DSE Graph on the Docker desktop.
